A Dorsal Spine X-Ray LAT (Lateral View) is a diagnostic imaging test that captures a side-profile image of your mid-back. This region—medically known as the thoracic spine—consists of 12 vertebrae labeled T1 through T12. While an anteroposterior (AP) view looks at the spine from the front, the lateral view is crucial for evaluating structural alignment and bone depth from the side.
